I've been a nurse for 21 years, most of them in mental health at Fort Worth Health Center in Fort Worth. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
I've held a lot of hands. I wouldn't change a thing.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
