Leah Hendricks
Teacher at Sakura Academy, loves history
- 🇺🇸 Allentown, Pennsylvania, United States
- Sakura Academy
- Since 1990
- English
I teach history at Sakura Academy in Allentown since 1990. Most days I teach first-year students, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I've coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Leah
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Leah: Any gift will help me keep tutoring for free.
