Lea Heike Thomas

Teacher at Bamboo Middle School, loves computer science

I taught computer science at Bamboo Middle School in Leipzig from 1999 to 2025. Most days I taught Grade 11, and I never turned anyone away. I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

More about Lea

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
