I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and 28 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Lea: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me agriculture in 2012 at Northside Technical College. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
