For eight years I was the accounting teacher at Maple Ridge Middle School. I taught Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Layla
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
