Layla Lubna Rashid
27 years teaching agriculture in Medina
- 🇸🇦 Medina, Madinah, Saudi Arabia
- Central Academy
- 1992 to 2012
- English, Arabic
For 20 years I was the agriculture teacher at Central Academy. I taught Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I make terrible puns. Inside it, I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Layla
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Layla: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
