Layla Basma Nasser
Teacher at Phoenix Secondary School, loves history
- 🇪🇬 Cairo, Cairo, Egypt
- Since 2006
- English
For 20 years I have been the history teacher at Phoenix Secondary School. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I make terrible puns. Inside it, I learn every name in the first week.
More about Layla
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
