I taught history at Greenfield Girls' School in Dallas from 2008 to 2017. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
Over the years I had 260 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Lawrence
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
