For twelve years I've run the martial arts program at Beacon Youth Club in Aberdeen. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Lawrence: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

I still think about that terrible school play. Best summer of my life! Greetings from Ikeja.
