Lawrence S. Carrillo

Wrestling and fitness coach, San Diego

  • 🇺🇸 San Diego, California, United States
  • Harmony Sports Club
  • Since 1987
  • English
I've coached wrestling at Harmony Sports Club since 1987. Most of my players were between 12 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk. I'm still learning every day.

More about Lawrence

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Lawrence: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
