Lawrence R. Bowers
38 years teaching French in San Francisco
- 🇺🇸 San Francisco, California, United States
- 1989 to 2013
- English, Spanish
I taught French at San Francisco Girls' School in San Francisco from 1989 to 2013. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I never turned anyone away.
I ran the robotics club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I garden badly but happily.
More about Lawrence
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Lawrence: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
