For 42 years I have been the mathematics teacher at Bakersfield Primary School. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Lawrence
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Lawrence: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
