Lawrence H. Hudson
16 years teaching home economics in Atlanta
- 🇺🇸 Atlanta, Georgia, United States
- Parkside Public School
- 1991 to 2019
- English
I taught home economics at Parkside Public School in Atlanta from 1991 to 2019. Most days I taught Grade 11, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I ran the chess club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
More about Lawrence
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Lawrence: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me home economics in 2013 at Parkside Public School. I still remember the last day before the summer holidays.
