I'm a textiles artist based in Houston. I've been making things from 1999 to 2019 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives.
I take the work seriously, though not myself. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Lawrence
I've had 4 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Lawrence: A gift would go toward materials for my next series.
