Lawrence E. Young
Mentor in nursing and trades
- 🇺🇸 Augusta, Georgia, United States
- Westbrook Foundation
- 2003 to 2025
- English
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,300 people through Westbrook Foundation.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Lawrence
If I mentored you, I hope you're still pushing yourself.

What gifts mean to Lawrence: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
