Lawrence E. Jones

Choir director and singer

  • 🇬🇧 Newcastle upon Tyne, England, United Kingdom
  • Eastgate Quartet
  • Since 1978
  • English
I play traditional drumming and tabla. I started in 1978 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness. I teach about 16 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I run most mornings.

More about Lawrence

I write my first song when I was 16. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Lawrence: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
