Lawrence Delgado
Martial arts and fitness coach, Eugene
- 🇺🇸 Eugene, Oregon, United States
- Eugene Swimming Club
- 1983 to 2016
- English
I coached martial arts at Eugene Swimming Club from 1983 to 2016. Most of my players were between 11 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
I'm still learning every day.

If you played for me, you probably remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.

What gifts mean to Lawrence: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
