Painting and decorating, done properly
- 🇬🇧 Bristol, England, United Kingdom
- 1980 to 1997
- English
My trade is painting and decorating. I opened my own shop in 1980 in Bristol and I'm still there most mornings.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 24 years later for another job.
I'm still learning every day.

What gifts mean to Lawrence: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
