Lavanya M. Sastry

Painter, potter and teacher at Siliguri Pottery

  • 🇮🇳 Siliguri, West Bengal, India
  • Siliguri Pottery
  • 1987 to 2006
  • English, Malayalam
I got into glass art as a hobby and somewhere along the way it became the thing I do every day. Most of my work is inspired by the river near my house. I make terrible puns. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Lavanya

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.

Mediums

Glass art
What gifts mean to Lavanya: A gift would go toward materials for my next series.
