I taught English literature at Orchid Technical College in Surrey from 2001 to 2015. Most days I taught teenagers, and I never turned anyone away.
I coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Lauren
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Lauren: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

you taught me English literature in 2006 at Orchid Technical College. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam
