Lauren G. Black
Master of masonry, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Dayton, Ohio, United States
- Since 2012
- English, Spanish
I've worked in masonry since 2012. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 630 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.

If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Lauren: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
