I've volunteered with Acacia Community Kitchen since 1978. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
Our crew is about 35 people now. Everyone brings something.
More about Laura
We run on goodwill and a very old kettle.
What gifts mean to Laura: I'd put a gift toward transport for our volunteers.
