I taught Spanish at Bamboo Secondary School in Madrid from 2008 to 2025. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Laura
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Laura: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
