I play violin and flute. I started in 1981 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 14 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I run most mornings.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Laura: Any gift will help me keep teaching kids who can't afford lessons.
