Latha N. Sivakumar
Master of bicycle repair, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Thane, Maharashtra, India
- Thane Workshop
- Since 1998
- English
I've worked in bicycle repair since 1998. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 1,260 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 24 years later for another job.
More about Latha
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Latha: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
