I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 31 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 810 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Lata
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me chemistry in 2008 at Willow Creek Middle School. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.
