Lata T. Singh
Mentor in writing and farming
- 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
- St. Mary's Foundation
- 1999 to 2007
- English, Spanish
For eight years I've mentored people in writing and farming. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Lata
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
What gifts mean to Lata: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
