Lata J. Chopra
Songwriting and tabla teacher
- 🇮🇳 Dwarka, Delhi, India
- Dwarka Ensemble
- Since 1978
- English, Hindi
I've played songwriting since 1978, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 15 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Lata
I write my first song when I was 14. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Lata: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
