For 18 years I was the French teacher at Pune Middle School. I taught Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Lata: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
