Lasanthi Thilini Seneviratne
Self-taught woodcarving artist
- 🇱🇰 Dehiwala, Western, Sri Lanka
- Harbor Studio
- 1997 to 2007
- English, Sinhala
I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes jewelry. My first show was in 1997 at Harbor Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by markets and street scenes. I run most mornings.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Lasanthi
I've had 9 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
