Lasanthi Fernando
Bass player and teacher in Negombo
- 🇱🇰 Negombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- Negombo Orchestra
- Since 2014
- English, Sinhala, French
I've played bass since 2014, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Lasanthi: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
