Larissa Fabiana Carvalho
Retired Spanish teacher from Holy Cross Academy
- 🇧🇷 Belém, Pará, Brazil
- Holy Cross Academy
- 2011 to 2023
- Portuguese
Holy Cross Academy was my second home. I taught Spanish there from 2011 to 2023, mostly the final-year class.
Outside the classroom I fix old bicycles. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Larissa
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Larissa: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
