Lanre Kelechi Olawale
Master of blacksmithing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇬 Abuja, Abuja FCT, Nigeria
- Old Pioneer Works
- Since 2013
- English
I've worked in blacksmithing since 2013. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 430 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Lanre
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
