Lanre Gbenga Daramola
Youth cross country coach and mentor
- 🇳🇬 Benin City, Edo, Nigeria
- 2017 to 2025
- English, Hausa
For eight years I ran the cross country program at Bamboo Football Club in Benin City. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
More about Lanre
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
