I coached cycling at Gwagwalada St. Anne's Swimming Club from 1981 to 2001. Most of my players were between 9 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turned anyone away.
