I've coached hockey at San Diego Unity Sports Club since 2009. Most of my players were between 10 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Landon
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Landon: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
