Landon Jenkins
Boxing coach, Los Angeles Central Swimming Club
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- Los Angeles Central Swimming Club
- Since 1991
- English
For 35 years I've run the boxing program at Los Angeles Central Swimming Club in Los Angeles. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
I'm still learning every day.

I still think about the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Best summer of my life! Greetings from Guadalupe.

You coached me in 1991. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Townsville.
