I coached rowing at Lille Athletic Club from 1992 to 2023. Most of my players were between 12 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I run most mornings.
More about Lamine
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Lamine: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
