I taught physical education and physics at Varanasi Grammar School, Varanasi. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Lakshmi
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
