I've spent 16 years as a lecturer in economics at Atlas Polytechnic in Pune. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I sing in a choir.
More about Lakshmi
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
