Laiba Sumbal Bhatti
Painting and decorating, done properly
- 🇵🇰 Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan
- Old Faisalabad Workshop
- Since 1991
- English, Urdu
I've worked in painting and decorating since 1991. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 810 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I sing in a choir.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Laiba
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Laiba: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
