Laiba Jatoi
Oud and jazz teacher
- 🇵🇰 Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan
- Faisalabad Orchestra
- Since 1990
- English, Punjabi
I play oud and jazz. I started in 1990 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 19 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I make terrible puns.
More about Laiba
I write my first song when I was 21. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Laiba: Any gift will help me keep teaching kids who can't afford lessons.
