I teach home economics at Maple Ridge High School in Colombo since 2003. Most days I teach Grade 4, and my door is open at lunch.
I've run the gardening club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I fix old bicycles.
More about Lahiru
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Lahiru: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
