I taught Spanish at San Jose Academy in San Jose from 1998 to 2021. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I never once raised my voice.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Kylie
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Kylie: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
