Kwesi Yaw Armah
Martial arts and fitness coach, Madina
- 🇬🇭 Madina, Greater Accra, Ghana
- Elmwood Athletic Club
- 2014 to 2022
- English, Spanish
For eight years I ran the martial arts program at Elmwood Athletic Club in Madina. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Kwesi: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
