Kurniawan Lukman Suryadi
Calligraphy and illustration artist
- 🇮🇩 Medan, North Sumatra, Indonesia
- The Central Gallery
- Since 2005
- English, Indonesian
I work mostly in calligraphy, sometimes illustration. My first show was in 2005 at The Central Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by the river near my house. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Kurniawan
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.

What gifts mean to Kurniawan: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
