Kumiko Sachiko Nakajima

Chemistry teacher at Westbrook Grammar School, 1986 to 2013

  • 🇯🇵 Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan
  • Westbrook Grammar School
  • 1986 to 2013
  • Japanese
For 27 years I was the chemistry teacher at Westbrook Grammar School. I taught the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.

More about Kumiko

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
