I taught design and technology at Dehiwala Boys' School in Dehiwala from 2004 to 2017. Most days I taught Year 9, and I never once raised my voice.
I ran the choir after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I garden badly but happily.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
