Kumara Lahiru Rathnayake
English literature teacher at Kandy Grammar School, Since 1996
- 🇱🇰 Kandy, Central, Sri Lanka
- Kandy Grammar School
- Since 1996
- English, Sinhala
I came to teaching late, after working as a bank clerk, and 30 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the science fair after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I watch every football match going.
More about Kumara
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
