Baking for 29 years in Madurai

- English, French
I've worked in baking from 1985 to 2014. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 1,480 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I never rush a conversation.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Kumar: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
